Sunset in Paradise
Sunset in Paradise
We decided to leave Michoacan and make one last trip to the beach in Zihuatanejo on the west coast. We found a great little campground on playa la ropa. Being on the west coast of Mexico we got to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets imaginable!

A True Artisan We ran across a little town called Santa Clara in Michoacan that had amazing copper artisans. It was well worth the stop to see them show off their craft. As always there was no shortage of shopping afterwards. 👍 SUBSCRIBE to our channel 🔔 ua-cam.com/users/SteveElaine2019 Watch more of our videos! ua-cam.com/users/SteveElaine2019 Follow us on INSTAGRAM: steveandelai...

Ever since they took down Opryland USA (the amusement park that this hotel replaced) I refuse to step foot on any Gaylord properties, until they bring a second version of opryland back to somewhere in Tennessee or in this world I will finally step foot on their properties again.

4 years is a long time Do not go to this region. 17 April 2024 On the road to Palenque Car stopped wrecked physically abused Robbed Held hostage for six hours They even tore up photos of our children and grandchildren I am 60. my wife is 70 Imagine seeing your wife of 70 on the ground surrounded by armed masked youths She is having hospital treatment We are both unwell and frightened. They gave us a political speech trying to take the moral high ground. Then went away to have a serious discussion on our situation. And their considered opion ROB US OF EVERYTHING. after all that rhetoric They turned out to be just thieves. THESE WHERE Mexican people not cartel in fact they Have built a village next to the road. What a terrible way to live. And to teach children THIS way to live. Shameful people with No respect.

I am sorry you had this bad experience. Unfortunately the highway 199 to Palenque has been volatile for years. This is not new. The people are indiginous and have been at odds with the government for years. This is the poorest state in Mexico. We avoided that particular highway for this reason.

Hey Steve! Thanks for the video. I have a quick and easy fix for you on the steps. On how to keep them in. If you get the Magnet Source .118 in. L X .709 in. W Silver Super Disc Magnets 6.5 lb. pull and place it next to the magnet already in the door jam that causes the step to move in and out, it will keep it in. And all you need to do is slide the magnet away to have the step come out if you want it to come out. It works awesome for me and no need to mess with the wiring.
